Playing Animation Files under Windows
The Colorful Fluid Mixing Gallery
Some tips on playing animation files under Windows:
- AVI files can be played by double-clicking on the filename. But that will play the file only once and then close the player. To prevent this from happening, open the Windows Media Player, which usually can be found under Start - Programs - Accessories - Multimedia - Windows Media Player. Then open the file and select play.
- GIF animations can be played from your web browser. Start your browser and load the file from your harddrive using the File - Open command.
- MPEG files may require a special player. Newer PCs and graphics boards often come with an MPEG player, but if your PC doesnt have one, you may have to search the web for a player that works on your system.
- Quicktime movies require the corresponding player from Apple.
