The Shaker Village Sailing Club

Lake Mascoma, Enfield, New Hampshire

The Shaker Village Sailing Club is located at Mascoma Lake in New Hampshire. The club offers boaters access to the lake for three full seasons, from ice-out to ice-in. Members who own boats are able to leave them at the club, using shore facilities or private moorings. There is a full season of racing in Laser class dinghies. Sloop races are held according to the interest among the membership. Through an affiliation with the Northeast Sailing Association, members may participate in NSA-sanctioned regattas held throughout northern New England - a wonderful opportunity for junior sailors in particular. Members who do not own boats are invited to join, can use the club boats, and may participate in all club activities. In addition to sailing, the club offers a wonderful place to swim, barbecue, play volleyball, or just lie in the sun. For further information, or to join, please call Betty Ann Heistad at 603-448-3756.
